TOGETHER WE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE TO PEOPLE'S LIFE'S
Please help us to give Hope and Compassion to those who need it
LCP Leslie's Care Packages was founded in 2016 by Vi Wood,
following her own experiences when she and her Family was in danger of losing their own home. The Voluntary Group has been set up in loving tribute to her late husband Leslie, helping homeless, vulnerable and anyone in need across the Black Country and the surropunding areas.
Homelessness is not a choice, and can happen to anyone at any time. Homeless are from all walks of life, from failed marriages, loss of jobs, loss of family members, people being abused, and with mental health issues.
Homelessness isn't just suffered by rough sleepers.
The "hidden homeless" are those living in unsuitable, temporary or crowded accommodation. Homelessness is devastating, leaving people vulnerable, low self-esteem and isolated and everyone deserves a place to call home.
LCP’s aim is to give hope, hands-on practical and emotional support. Providing much needed provisions to homeless and anyone in need
We are raising awareness of homelessness and poverty.
Donations are vital to the continuing success of Leslie's Care Packages, and are taken direct to where they are needed.
Leslie's Care Packages is holding a community Christmas event, where we can have a chat and
a laugh over a hot drink and mincepie, with good company, and where we can make new friends.
Trying to bring back the community spirit it once was and we all remember.
We are trying to make it a traditional old Christmas, where material things don't really matter,
but People do.
